Please note: Every study tour program has a unit attached to the program which we will enrol you into. Therefore, the study tour unit will count in place of another unit within your degree, which can occupy an elective/component space or may be the equivalent of a specific/core unit that is on your study plan. For example: if you are a Business student, a related study tour may count in place of your capstone unit. Therefore you would need to nominate ‘specific unit’, add the ‘unit code’ of your capstone unit which the study tour is replacing and then write ‘capstone’ for the unit title. If you are an engineering student and wish for the study tour program to count towards your Professional Experience requirement, then please choose EAT20008.

By choosing EAT20008, it will be displayed on your academic record instead of the name of the study tour program. Alternatively, you can choose to take the study tour as an elective. Please note: assessments and course fees may vary depending on how you nominate the study tour because EAT20008 is non-credit bearing. If the program you are applying for has Australian Government New Colombo Plan Funding, you will be automatically considered for when applying for the program. To be eligible for the scholarship you must confirm:

You are an Australian citizen

You do not have dual citizenship or residency rights in your program location

You are undertaking a Bachelor Degree or Bachelor Honours Degree

You will be between 18 and 28 years at the commencement of the program (if you are outside of this, you are not excluded from receiving a scholarship, but there is a limit on the number of students outside of this range)

You have not previously received a short-term New Colombo Plan grant

You have not already commenced a period of overseas study in the same destination as the program
